Abstract:
Relevance. The World Health Organization identifies four diseases that pose a threat to the existence of human civilization - it is AIDS, diabetes, tuberculosis and malaria [1, 2, 6]. The situation is aggravated by the steady increase in the number of patients with a combination of tuberculosis and diabetes in the world [2, 3]. This is reflected in the statistics of world and Azerbaijani structures. Despite the stabilization of the situation, the problem of the spread of pulmonary tuberculosis in Azerbaijan remains an urgent public health problem. Organization of antituberculosis therapy for patients suffering from various forms of diabetes mellitus is a hot topic of modern TB [1, 2, 3, 4, 7].
