You are starting to study a very interesting and informative discipline "Medical Microbiology, Virology, Immunology", which plays a very important role in the training of future doctors and in their subsequent practical activity in the health care system.
This textbook has been prepared to make it easier for you to absorb a large amount of information and successfully master the basic practical skills of microbiological research.
Microbiology classes consist of theoretical and practical parts. The practical part of the class consists of laboratory work and therefore the aim of this textbook is to prepare medical students to perform laboratory work, to teach them to analyse and interpret the results of the study. With the help of this manual students will acquire basic skills of microbiological research, consolidate in practice the acquired theoretical knowledge, learn how to correctly fill out the accompanying documentation when sending clinical material to the laboratory, which will allow future doctors to competently choose the methods of microbiological research for diagnosis and correctly interpret the results obtained.
The manual consists of two sections: general microbiology with the basics of immunology, private bacteriology with virology and includes 21 laboratory works on the first section and 16 laboratory works on the second |
